444

THE FIRST 20
Take my seat and pull out
The lights reflect off the back wall
Turn down the road and peel away a layer
Dark but not so the moon is full
Over my shoulder like a passenger
Lonely but lovely the morning is engaging
Drive, drive, drive...
Quite thoughts enter
My mind is dragging ideas
There are no parties only corporations
(poor skunk didn’t make it far)
Down the hill make a right
Ah the moon and Jupiter
Reflecting off the river
flowing now.

ALMOST THERE
The sky is early and gun metal blue
Yellow ochre moon is full reflecting light
Through gauzy drapes around
Jupiter punctuates above to the left
Bright while bowing contrail slices the air between.
