What Happened?

Following in the foot steps of other past White House staffers ex- press secretary Scott McClellan released his tell all book “What Happened: Inside The Bush White House – Washington’s Culture of Deception” or “ I was a lying whore for George Bush and Now I Need to Profit from It”.

Several White House personnel have already spoke out on the book's contents.

“Scott, we now know, is disgruntled about his experience at the White House. For those of us who fully supported him, before, during and after he was press secretary, we are puzzled. It is sad - this is not the Scott we knew," Dana Perino, one of his suck-sessors at the podium, says in a statement to reporters.
That’s true enough. The Scott the White House knew would repeat any lie to cover up for George Bush and hearing the truth come out from him is the farthest thing anyone would expect from a former staffer of the Bush administration or for that matter any existing one.

"The book, as reported by the press, has been described to the president. I do not expect a comment from him on it - he has more pressing matters than to spend time commenting on books by former staffers," she says.
The book had to be described, as it contains no pictures and is beyond Dubya’s “My Little Goat” reading ability, besides his bubble bath was getting cold.

Another remark came from Frances Fragos Townsend, who once served as President Bush's top terrorism adviser, tells CNN that the former aide's claims are "self-serving, disingenuous and unprofessional. Which if he had showed those qualities sooner he would have never been let go from the administration”.

Karl Rove, now working for Fox News, says his one-time colleague was "out of the loop." He denies discussing the CIA leak case with Scooter Libby, as McClellan alleges in his book. Rove went on to deny having ever discussed anything with anyone at any time during his own self-serving, disingenuous and unprofessional political career.

And the Vice President mumbled “Go fuck yourself, if I ever see you while I have a gun I’ll shoot you”.

The media meanwhile is doing it’s best to discredit the book as the work of an angry ex-employee not wanting it’s own rolling over for the president to be accepted as the truth.

Poor Scott, Stephanopoulos got a prime time reporters job when he wrote his damning book about Clinton but all McClellan will get is the title of “disgruntled employee”.

And as far as I’m concerned that’s a just tough titty. Where was your conscience four years and countless lives and ago Scott? Four years ago you had a chance to tell the truth about Bush, hell you had a daily podium to address from and you choose to continue to spread the lies instead. Well maybe your conscience can rest a bit now but don’t think either side will be forgiving you any time soon.

Closer to home the rooster has come back to roost for the Belchertown selectman who refused to vote for a Town Energy Plan due to their logic that global warming has not been proven and that many dark scientist in the employ of the oil companies have disproved the inaccurate theory. A citizens action group has drawn a petition and received signatures demanding a vote by ballot in the next election and has published a letter in the weekly town paper which accurately reports the oil and energy company sponsored think tanks that the scientist, whom the selectman quote, work for.

This week’s puzzler question; “Why is Barry Crimmins on the fifty dollar bill?”
(If you hold a newer fifty up to the light with Grant facing you, Barry’s face appears in the lower right corner.)
